There wasn’t a lot of screentime for Jamie and Eddie, but it was a great story for Eddie. It really demonstrated her warmth and understanding in how she considered what was behind her sergeant’s actions. I’m glad that helping the sergeant with this issue should mean she’ll now have less hassle at work. In the end, McNichols’ situation was quite moving. When she originally blamed Frank it was probably because he was a remote figure, but then she ends up working with members of the family… hopefully she can now put that behind her.

Regarding the other storylines – The two involved in Danny’s story clearly weren’t the smartest people, it seemed pretty suspicious that the supposed victim had overheard the planning of their own death… I really liked how Frank and Garrett dealt with the new mayor, he’s shown them how he operates and that he underestimated their ability to notice what he was up to. It should make things interesting once he takes office.

My full thoughts will be posted on Monday so please check back then.
