The Jamie and Eddie story was work-focused rather than relationship-focused, it gave a really nice feel of them working as a team and that having contrasting views doesn’t automatically lead to an argument. Family dinner was so funny and a high-energy scene, amusing to see Eddie finding out more about Jamie’s past love life courtesy of his siblings. Also cute to see Eddie as the concerned aunt taking an interest in Sean’s love life.

The start of Erin’s story made it look so straightforward it kind of signaled something was going to happen to cause it to be complicated. Have to think that knowing he took a life meant Farmer was more likely to be heroic. I really liked Erin and Frank’s church scene as it was a fresh approach to their regular talks.

It was great to finally see the Danny and Baez story after those BTS photos from 10 months ago. The investigation might be problematic due to Danny’s issues with the rules, but it was a compelling investigation.

Finally Frank’s story, it was a bit surprising that Mulaney wasn’t offered an administrative role until after she complained. It’s definitely not an easy job to make accommodations for, but the story provided a good reason for not dismissing staff before giving them a chance to prove themselves.

My full thoughts will be posted on Monday so please check back then.
